So… Being on the inside at TY is kind of like being lost in Faerie? Time moves differently on the inside?
I think it might be that they don’t have calendars, so unless you actively try to keep track of what day it is you lose track of how long you are there.
His family was outside waiting for him and his sister didn’t age much from the time he was caught to the time he escaped (and little kids shoot up fast). I think he might be referencing the attack in which he got turned, as well as his memory loss. (that was the initial point she made to him about the time disparity a few pages ago.) It seems like even though he didn’t go feral, he may have spent quite a bit of time in a dreamlike state. …or that bullet hit the perfect spot to wipe out memories of one specific person and his perception of time.
It feels more like he’s saying that a few years have passed since his escape. We’re time jumping forward.

Wait…the logo on his muzzle thing… Is that made by TY too? Just how much “normal” stuff have they been doing on the outside?
