To be fair, most businesses in the starting phases the boss doesn’t get paid either.
Wow, someone had a bad night.
Everything’s negotiable. If you don’t like something in the contract, cross it out…
you sound like a ferangi
Rule of Acquisition #17: A contract is a contract is a contract… but only between Ferengi.
I think we see now one more of the reasons their relationship didn’t work out when they were together.
Aside from the constant physical abuse like hitting him when she gets upset, the guilt tripping over their breakup the first time while she had him turn her into a zombie, alienating him from other people like when she refuses to tell him that she basically utterly insulted the blonde lady who was with him all this time (apologies but her name doesn’t come to mind right now),apologies long with various other issues I’ve seen while they’re supposedly just together in the business now.
She refuses to communicate her problems with him. James is not a mind reader, he can’t tell what’s wrong, especially when she gets all distant and snappy like she is now. She never gave so much as a hint of her illness to him, then blamed him when she stood back and let their relationship fall apart. Now she looks like she’s just resorting back to anger when he’s not even aware of something happening the night before, and he’s just genuinely concerned that she was out all night, not to mention the problems of his own he’s having.
I know this sort of went on a rant, but I just feel that him helping her and having her as a partner of any sort was not necessarily a good thing, even if zombifyng her HAS given her more time once it helped her with her illness.
Well put! That pretty much summed it up.
In other words, she’s just too damn cranky…
